Adrian will work on existing products and develop exciting new lines for the brand, which currently distributes PVCu fencing, decking and caravan verandah systems. The appointment brings Redshaw back to the company where his career began.
Adrian has over 24 years experience in the industry, and throughout his career has been heavily involved in the design, development and tooling for a wide range of products. He originally joined HL Plastics in 1989 as Design Manager and Technical Director for its Tarpey-Harris division, with responsibility for the design of international aerospace and PVCu extrusion and mould tooling.
Following this Adrian held the Design Manager position at Eurocell Profiles Ltd, responsible for the design of a number of their window and roofing systems, as well as involvement in enhancing manufacturing efficiencies, product quality and specifying new machinery.
HL Plastics provides a complete design and prototyping service to its customers, utilising the very latest in CAD software to develop initial concepts through to actual working models. Their technical team can also offer customers advice, calculations and extensive testing of finished components.
Roger Hartshorn, Group Managing Director, comments: “Bringing Adrian on board will add a new dimension to our design capabilities. We’ve always prided ourselves on having excellent in-house facilities and Adrian’s knowledge and experience will allow us to further develop the Liniar brand into new and exciting product areas.”
