A bit of history...

John Flamstead was born in Denby, (the location of our new site) in 1646. He became one of the greatest pioneers of astronomy and was the first person to hold the title ‘Royal Astronomer.’

Although not designed by Flamstead himself, our Group logo is of an Orrery which is a mechanical structure that illustrates the positions and movements of the planets and moons in the solar system.
