New Managing Director for HL Plastics

Martin Thurley has been welcomed as Managing Director of innovative Denby-based PVCu extrusion company HL Plastics by CEO Roger Hartshorn.

Martin was introduced to the company that created the Liniar brand by Roger, who explained the appointment:

“Due to our substantial expansion over the last six years, I felt it was time to bolster the senior management make-up to allow me to concentrate solely on the strategic path of the business.

“Because of the flat structure at HL Plastics our decision-making procedure has always been prompt – and as we’ve grown we’re determined for that to Martin Thurleycontinue so that our customers get the same outstanding degree of service they’ve always had.

“By appointing Martin as Managing Director we’ll be able to maintain and surpass expectations, and also add valu able knowledge to the senior team.”

MBA-qualified and with vast Operational and Commercial experience in both manufacturing and construction environments, Martin brings an abundance of experience across a number of fields including Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, Health & Safety Management and Customer Service.

Martin comments:

“I’m very much looking forward to working alongside Roger and working with the existing senior team to further our expansion plans for the future.

“Our customers and employees will remain central to our strategic direction and all business decisions.”
