HL Plastics’ new lamination facility opened

In the latest stage of its ongoing expansion plans, HL Plastics has opened its new state-of-the-art foiling and lamination plant.

Previously situated at Cotes Park, the division has now been relocated to the company’s headquarters at Denby. Production time was unaffected as the move was completed in just eight days – faster than originally scheduled.

In order to increase the capacity of the facility, a brand new WPR machine has also been installed as part of the new set-up.

Foiling Facility 02“Bringing our foiling operation to Denby makes perfect commercial sense,” said Martin Thurley, HL Managing Director.

“It means that we now have the majority of our manufacturing divisions together in one location, streamlining our operations and saving on transport costs and wasted man hours.

“The addition of the new WPR machine has been necessitated by the increasing popularity of coloured Liniar products.

“We also have a machine dedicated to specials to cater for the extra demand for a greater variety of colours – great news for our customers.”
